Hey there, this is my first post. I just purchased a 2010 s4 that was in a front end accident previously. I then got a check engine light and vagcom told me it was my ambient temperature sensor (g17). From my research i found out it is somewhere behind the front bumper.

Having an issue with my ambient air temp, my car was in a minor accident awhile back and damaged the front clip and core support ect. I replaced the damaged parts without any issues and got everything working properly except the ambient air temp sensor. Didn't worry about it until i realized my a/c didn't work because of it. Bore and stroke size is 3. 552 in × 4. 165 in (90. 2 mm × 105. 8 mm), identical to the 5. 4 l v8. Discussion starter · #3 · mar 18, 2011.
